Income limit
The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has increased the annual income limit under Kuvarbai Mameru Yojana.
Annual family income in rural areas is Rs. Should not be more than 1,20,000. And for urban areas the annual income of the applicant is Rs. 1,50,000 should not be from.
What is Kuvarbai Mameru Yojana?
Kuvarbai Mameru Yojana is a scheme run under the Social Welfare Branch of the Government of Gujarat which benefits Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe girls. After those girls get married they can avail this scheme. This scheme is also known as Mangalsutra scheme.

Eligibility
If a girl remarries, she will not be able to avail the benefit. Assistance must be applied for within two years of marriage. The scheme will be eligible for the assistance of virgins from seven Fera Group Scheduled Districts. Up to 2 years of marriage.

- Marriage Registration Certificate (Marriage Certificate)
- Copy of first page of bank passbook / canceled check (with father/guardian’s name after bride’s name)
- Affidavit of bride’s father/guardian Undertaking of bride’s father/guardian Instance of death if father is not alive.
